Summary: The Office Manager will work under the direction of the President or designed board member and the senior adviser to help establish and manage the MPAC-WNY office, including creating procedures and day-to-day affairs of the office.Job Description:

  • Managing all the affairs of the office including:
  • Collect, follow up and appropriate disposition of office mail;
  • Answer phone calls, make appointments and maintain office records
  • Manage  income and expenses of the organization with the supervision;
  • Write, distribute Newsletter and maintain agenda and minutes of designated meetings;
  • Be available to the board members for assistance, if needed;
  • Organize  and maintain a database, list serves, e-mails to the community and newsletters;
  • Follow national organization procedures as defined in the policy manual;
  • Work as the liaison with the MPAC National office under the supervision of the  President  and the senior adviser

Job Requirements:

  • Must be US Citizen or permanent resident;
  • Excellent communication and organizational  skills;
  • Able to work for at least 30 hours per week (subject to increase as needed);
  • The regular work hours will be Mon-Fri. with occasional weekend or evening program;
  • Have personal transportation and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word;
  • At least two years of college education;
  • Provide 3 professional references (preferably letters) with full/e-mail address and phone numbers.
