The President of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Salam Al-Marayati, has been tirelessly serving our communities and our country for the past twenty four years. A gifted writer and speaker, he is one of the most sought after Muslim leader in our Nation. He has had the opportunity to speak at Muslim community-sponsored events, temples, synagogues, churches, educational institutions at all levels and government and non-government policy institutions. He has written extensively on Islam, human rights, democracy, Middle East politics, the Balkan Crisis, interfaith issues and the Homeland Security.
His writings and interviews have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Christian Science Monitor, The LA Daily News, The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle and USA Today. He has appeared on a wide array of radio and TV talk shows as well. Salam is on several Boards across the country and has been recognized by many institutions and organizations for his multiple contributions to the cause of our community and our country
